What we did was take a helicopter into Assiniboine Provincial Park, stay at Magog Lake campground for 3 nights and hike out through Wonder Pass. We did it this way so that we’d have lots of energy to hike when we got into Assiniboine, and used the rest of our energy on the long hike out. If possible, we definitely recommend this (it’s 100% worth the one-way helicopter ride)!
