Victoria is the capital of the island of Gozo. With its approximately 6,000 inhabitants it is one of the most beautiful places in Malta. The city, which used to be called Rabat, is known for its medieval citadel, which seems to watch over the whole of Gozo. The meeting point here is next to the market square, St. George’s Basilica and the square in front of it with many café’s and restaurants. Day trips to Victoria are also offered from Valletta.
