Just off the main road, you'll discover one of our island's little secrets, Las Grietas, or 'The Cracks'. These are incredible fissures torn into the volcanic landscape by the forces of nature. After parking, a short 5-minute walk up a gravel path will lead you right into these narrow canyons. You can walk through the crevasses, feeling the textured volcanic walls around you. It’s a truly unique photo opportunity and a chance to see the raw power that shaped Lanzarote. Just be sure to wear sturdy trainers, as the volcanic pebbles can be a bit slippery underfoot.
