Whitehaven Beach is the crown jewel of the Whitsundays, a 7km stretch of swirling silica sands and turquoise swirls at Hill Inlet that’s straight-up mesmerising.

No cars or public access, so tours from Airlie Beach are the only way to get there. There are fast catamarans, speedy Thundercats, or luxe seaplanes zipping you 25km offshore in 30-45 mins.

We recommend going on a full-day tours (7-8 hours) for max beach time!
