Bring a windproof layer and sturdy shoes because it can be gusty and the ground is rough, and plan for about 15–30 minutes since there are no facilities or cafés. The light is best at sunrise or sunset for photos and possible boat or whale sightings, and be careful near the edge and keep pets on a leash for safety.
