For a truly spectacular view, you have to experience the hike up Monte Corona. Starting from the little church in the village of Yé, a path winds you through unique vineyards before a short, steeper climb to the top. The whole walk to the crater rim and back takes about an hour to an hour and a half. Once you're up there, the panoramic views of the deep crater and the ocean are absolutely breathtaking, offering a less crowded alternative to other volcanoes on the island.
