What to order
Order the bít tết (Vietnamese-style steak) served sizzling on a hot plate with fried egg, pâté, and bread. If you’re hungry, ask for extra bread to soak up the buttery sauce.
Why it’s here
This is a classic Hanoi comfort dish rather than a Western steak. The meat arrives on a scorching cast-iron plate, cooked in butter and sauce, with rich pâté that gives it a uniquely local flavour. It’s fast, filling, and very much a Hanoi-style meal.
Tip
Best for lunch or early dinner. It can get hot and smoky inside, so sit near the front if you can. Eat it straight away while the plate is still sizzling.
