If throwing yourself out of a plane is on your bucket list, NZONE Skydive Queenstown is one of the best places to tick it off! They’ve been operating for over 30 years and are professionals through and through. You’ll want to keep your eyes open the whole way down as you’ll get views of Queenstown, Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables right beneath you. Plus, on a clear day, you’ll see the surrounding mountain ranges and out to Fiordland and the Southern Alps.

There are three heights to choose from. If you opt for their 15,000-ft jump, you’ll free-fall at 200km/h. It’s wild, exhilarating, and a little bit mad!

How much does it cost?

Costs vary depending on the height you choose. As of April 2025, they are:

• 9,000 ft jump – $299 NZD

• 12,000 ft jump – $379 NZD

• 15,000 ft jump – $479 NZD

• Photo and video packages start from $189 NZD

How to get there

NZONE’s dropzone is around 20 mintues from Queenstown CBD. If you go to their store on Shotover Street, they’ll offer you free transport. Alternatively, you can drive and park onsite.
