If you’ve spent time in Queenstown, you’ll know this town isn’t short of interesting bars and restaurants. Perky’s is New Zealand’s only floating bar, set in a large boat with jaw-dropping views of Lake Wakatipu and the mountains.

You're allowed to bring your own food on board (highly recommend getting your favourite takeaway!) and they have a huge menu full of craft beer, NZ wine and cocktails. If you’re wishfully dreaming of a European summer, you’ll be pleased to know they have Aperol Spritz.

They're open every day from 12 pm to 11 pm, but don’t take reservations, so I recommend arriving early to avoid the pre-dinner rush.
