Alvord Hot Springs is a must-visit outdoor paradise in the stunning Southeastern Oregon. Set at the eastern base of Steens Mountain and on the western edge of the Alvord Desert, the hot pools offer an incredible view and crisp desert air for visitors to relax in. The geothermal spring surface at an incredible 184 degrees; however, thanks to some clever engineering, the heated water arrives at just the right temperature. For only $5 per day, this isolated area provides a peaceful oasis for travelers to enjoy. Restrooms, camping, and a gift shop are adjacent to the hot pools.
