Roykstovan, also known as the reek parlour or smoke room, is one of the oldest parts of Kirkjubøargarður farmhouse in the Faroe Islands. It is believed to date back to the 11th century and has historical significance as the place where Bishop Erlendur wrote the 'Sheep Letter' in 1298, which is the earliest known document from the Faroes. Today, the roykstovan serves as a museum and a restaurant for larger groups, adding a cozy and rustic charm to the historic setting.

Entrance fee 7 Euros. Can be paid on site or online
