Stromma Canal Tours offers a way to see and learn about Copenhagen from the water. With departures from Nyhavn and Ved Stranden, visitors can choose between a one-hour Classic Canal Tour or a longer 1 hour 45 minutes Grand Canal Tour. Kids sail for half price, and there are live-guided tours in English and Danish, as well as audio guides in multiple languages. Canal tours aren't for everyone -- you are limited to what you can see from the water, of course, and my experience is that the tour guides talk pretty quickly. But if you want to take a tour and perhaps aren't up for a long walking tour, this is a good option!
