Navigate With Swisstopo

Introduction:

If you plan on hiking during your trip to Switzerland, I highly recommend downloading swisstopo. For the hikes in the Swiss Alps Guide I used Swisstopo and mapped them all out on the app for you to access. It's a reliable and good tool to plan hikes by yourself.

What you can do in the App:

• In the App you can plan your own hiking routes / biking routes / Skitours / Snowshoe hikes by touch and drag.

• Check which difficulty the hike is going to be, how many meters in height and how much time it's going to take

• With GPS you can find the nearest trail if you've gone off path

• There is a useful feature that shows snow levels. This way you can always check if and how much snow lies on a trail you're planning to do.

• Panorama Mode: Find out which mountain you are looking at.
