Take an adventure to the outskirts of Lillehammer in Fåberg, Oppland. Here you will find 11 archaeological petroglyphs, each painted onto rocks engraved by ancient Norwegians and believed to depict images of elks. Located west of the river Lågen, 1.5 km from the Brunlaug bridge, these carvings may seem hard to reach at a distance - however they are truly worth exploring! Keep your eyes peeled, as some of the smaller carvings can be difficult to spot. You'll no doubt find this experience both educational and entertaining - so don't miss out on the chance to take a trip back in time with these fascinating rock carvings!
