Gamle Strynefjellsvegen is a historic mountain road located in Norway. A must-see for those looking to explore the nature the country has to offer, it passes through Jostedalsbreen National Park and offers stunning views of both its mountains and glacial carved valleys. It is open only during the summer months, and a number of hiking trails, breathtaking waterfalls, and beautiful guardstones line the route. It's easy to make a day out of this experience by stopping first at Videfossen waterfall, then heading to Øvstefossen, then checking out the rarely seen stone bridge at Jøl, before finally stopping off at the charming lakeside village Hjelle. All in all, Gamle Strynfjellveg makes for an amazing, memorable road trip experience that should not be missed.
