Reinli Stave Church, located in the village of Reinli Sør-Aurdal, Norway, is a historical and well-preserved Church of Norway parish church. It has a story dating back as far as 1023 when King Olaf Haraldsson visited it. After its wooden post church burnt down, a new stave church was built in its place, possibly in the late 13th century. Its interior underwent changes in 1884–1885, but outside of this, the church is believed to be close to its original configuration. In 1965, a new chapel was erected across the road and now the stave church is only used for special occasions. This remarkable church stands today as a perfect example of medieval wooden building architecture.
