The Glomågå is Norway's longest river, stretching an impressive 621 km (386 miles) from Røros in central Norway all the way down to the Oslofjord near Fredrikstad. Over 13 % of Norway's surface area is drained by this impressive waterway, and the river has shaped the landscape for hundreds of years. Along its route, you can explore charming towns with awe-inspiring fortresses, picturesque landscapes, and richly forested areas. There are many places to go fishing along the banks of the river as well. The river is shining example of natural beauty in Norway, and provides a great opportunity for outdoor enthusiasts to explore and enjoy the area.
