Moderately demanding hike (you can also do an easy hike just up to Kolsåstoppen) 8.0 km 4 hours Round trip 416 height meters in total Sesong: Mar - oktThe hike consists of Nordre Kolsås (379 masl.) and Søndre Kolsås (342 masl), and between the peaks lies the idyllic little Setertjern. The tour starts from Stein Gård (Stein car park) and goes along the old road, under the high voltage power line, until you meet the blue-marked path to Nordre Kolås. Follow the path up a rise to a small water. Turn right at the next junction and go up to Nordre Kolsås. Here it is nice to stop and enjoy the view. Then go back down to the trail junction and go south to Setertjern and up to Søndre Kolsås.

From the top of Søndre Kolsås, follow the blue markings further down from the top on the south side. The upper part here is steep, but is partly arranged with stairs and railings. The path takes you down to a gravel road where you walk north past the KIF cabin and further on the east side of the summit back to Stein Gård.
