Gudbrandsjuvet is an awe-inspiring deep ravine located between Valldal and Trollstigen in Norway. The waters here have carved a narrow gorge only five metres wide, but up to twenty-five metres high. Legends state that in the 1500’s, an outlaw called Gudbrand once dived into the ravine to escape from pursuers as he ran off with his new bride.
