The Bonavista Lighthouse is a cool spot in Newfoundland where you can climb up the tower and check out the old-school light apparatus from the 1800s. It's like stepping back in time for a sec! From there, you can take the 3.5 km cape shore trail, which follows the outline of the coast. It’s a great place to go whale-watching! There are also some cliffs near the lighthouse where puffins nest, although Elliston is my favorite place to see them.
