Cassidy Arch is a lovely, photogenic arch in Capitol Reef National Park which was named after the infamous outlaw Butch Cassidy. This arch is situated 400 feet above the Scenic Drive and the Grand Wash Trail, offering splendid views of the surrounding area. Perfect for hikers of all levels of experience, the 3.5 mile trail provides great opportunities for photography and exploration. The trail forks out of Grand Wash about three quarters of a mile from the parking area with many view points along the way. The end result is the spectacularly large arch which stands proud among the scenery.
