Visiting a local pool can be a very cultural experience. This is where Icelanders go, every day and when on a vacation. This pool is in my opinion one of the best. Try the slides, even if you're a grown up. The "toilet" is so much fun. Great place to visit with kids, they probably have more fun here than in other bathing places.

More about the place: Facilities include two 25m heated outdoor swimming pools, five hot tubs of temperatures varying between 38 – 42°C, a sunbathing area with deck chairs, a children‘s pool, a steam bath, cold bath and three water slides – including the longest water slide in Iceland.

There are digital lockers in the changing rooms so you don't need to worry about your things.
