Landmannalaugar fit's the category of a hot spring, hike, campsite and sightseeing. Before you read further, please note that you need a 4x4 car to go here. Do not try drive a small car there.

Landmannalaugar is in the highlands, but very accessible. The area is known for it's stunning landscapes and natural geothermal hot springs. You can go on short hikes, you can go on long hikes or you can simply go there to dip in the hot spring. You can camp there or sleep in a hut. There are shower and wc facilities onsite.

To get there, you have four routes to pick from. The most simple way is to simply put Landmannalaugar into google maps. The app knows where to go. You can very easily pair that trip with one of my itineraries, my farming area as google maps takes you right through my farming area.
