Traffic on the island can get surprisingly heavy, and with only a few main roads, rush hours sometimes turn into long standstills. It’s not unusual to lose 2-3 hours in traffic - time you could easily spend exploring, relaxing on the beach, or enjoying great food instead.

And if you do end up stuck with no realistic detour, don’t stress. Park safely, find a nearby restaurant or beach bar, and make the most of the moment. A chilled drink with an ocean view definitely beats sitting in a car watching the clock.
