Dromskåran is a spectacular canyon located in Oviksfjällen, formed by a glacial river. This impressive natural formation cuts deep into the mountain Drommen, creating a dramatic landscape that feels straight out of another world. The trail starts at the Dromliften ski lift in Bydalen, and from there, the path climbs steadily almost all the way up. As you hike, you’ll be rewarded with sweeping views over the surrounding fjälls.
You can also explore Dromskåran from inside the canyon, but this is not recommended due to the risk of falling rocks. The best and safest way to experience it is from above, where you can truly take in the scale of the landscape. If you want to extend your adventure, you can continue hiking through the fjälls or climb up Drommen mountain for a breathtaking panorama over the landscape.
