It is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Montenegro from where to look at Kotor from above.

The fortress was built in the 6th century by the Byzantine Empire, and it was later expanded by the Venetians. Nowadays, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

There are two ways to enter it - through the official gate (for the payment) following a cobbled path up or via a hiking trail for free. I talk about both options in my post, see it attached.
