Maps.me is one of the best offline navigation apps for traveling in Kyrgyzstan. You can input specific GPS coordinates, and it will usually guide you along the most efficient routes—even in areas with no cell service.

However, take its directions with caution. The app sometimes suggests “shortcuts” or backroads that don’t actually exist, or are impassable in anything but a 4x4. Always cross-check with a satellite view (Google Maps or Gaia GPS) and ask locals if you’re unsure.
