Is it going to be the highlight of your Australian adventures? Probably not, but it’ll definitely give you a chuckle. The Big Potato in Robertson is a quirky gem you might not expect, but it’s worth a quick visit. Constructed in 1977 by a local potato farmer, this giant spud stands at 10 meters long and 4 meters wide. Originally intended to house a Potato Information Centre, the Big Potato has since lost its ‘face’ after a facelift but remains a beloved photo op. It’s a fun spot for snapping some goofy pics and enjoying a picnic in the park surrounding it. Personally, it looks like a giant, misshapen poo to me, but you can be the judge when you see it! I swung by while exploring Carrington Falls, and it’s a humorous pit stop on your way through the area.
