Tura Beach Rockpool is truly a hidden gem on the South Coast, that I’m excited to share with you. On the day I visited, the weather was overcast, so the photos I took don’t quite capture the pool’s full splendor. But just imagine how vibrant and stunning these rock pools would look under a bright sun! The area features several rock pools, each offering a unique experience depending on how adventurous you're feeling. To find these pools, park at the small carpark at the start of the Tura Headland Walk. From there, follow the trail, which is about 900 meters long and should take you around 10 minutes to walk. Along the way, you’ll pass a lookout with some beautiful views, so take a moment to enjoy them too.
At the end of the trail, you’ll need to carefully scramble down a rocky section. It’s manageable, but keep an eye on your footing and take your time. Once you reach the rock pools, you’ll be greeted with breathtaking views of the horizon and crystal-clear, jade-colored water. For the best experience, wear sturdy footwear to navigate the rocks and try to visit at high tide to fully enjoy the ocean-fed pools.
