Coastal cliffs, beautiful beaches, and rolling landscapes make Robe a must-visit coastal get along the limestone coast in  South Australia. This charming town is renowned for its historic architecture and stunning natural scenery. A standout attraction is the Robe Coastal Walk, a spectacular 14-kilometer trail offering breathtaking views of the rugged coastline and the Southern Ocean.

During my visit, I chose a car park near one section of the trail and strolled along the cliffs to the distinctive Robe Striped Lighthouse, which has been guiding ships since 1859 and is steeped in history. The lighthouse stands as a picturesque landmark against the backdrop of dramatic sea views. If you’re up for the full adventure, the trail takes you through diverse landscapes, from sandy dunes and rocky outcrops to lush vegetation, highlighting the area's rich natural beauty. Whether you’re a nature enthusiast or just in need of a peaceful stroll, Robe and its Coastal Walk promise panoramic vistas, a touch of history, and a serene escape along the Limestone Coast.
