This place offers a range of outdoor activities and experiences in the beautiful nature of Syöte. They are most famous for their huskies, since they have over a 100 living on the property.

Animal welfare is very important to me, so I only recommend places in Finland that I personally visited and believe that are good for the animals. The owner of this place is a wonderful lady that really loves her dogs. I visited the Syötteen Eräpalvelut farm in fall, when it was to soon for a sledge ride (which I did in many other places), snowshoe hike or kicking sledge adventure.

However, when there is no snow, you can still visit the husky farm for a small fee to cuddle and feed the husky's. It also gives a good insight in how the dogs live during the rest of the year.

Off-winter season you can also go here for river tubing, guided fishing trips, canoe trips, meditating in nature or a unique sauna experience. There's something for everyone looking to explore the Finnish wilderness!
