Discover Lagazuoi: A Gem in the Dolomites 🏞️

Lagazuoi is one of those places that takes your breath away, whether you're hiking up or taking the cable car to the top. Located in the stunning Dolomites, it's a spot you definitely don’t want to miss. 🌄

Getting There 🚶‍♂️🚠

You have two options for reaching the top of Lagazuoi: you can either hike up or take the cable car. The hike is a beautiful, yet challenging experience, taking about 2 to 2.5 hours depending on your pace. It's a steep climb, but the views along the way are more than worth it. If you're looking for a quicker way up, the cable car will get you there in about 5 minutes. A one-way ticket costs around €20.

The Marked Spot 🗺️

Once at the top, the marked spot I visited is only about 10 minutes from the cable car station. It's the perfect spot to take in the surrounding mountains (use this coordinates in maps.me to get there: 46.5297984, 12.0029836 ) or this link for google maps

Stay at the Rifugio 🏡

If you want to experience something really special, consider staying overnight at the Rifugio on top. Watching the sunrise here would be an unforgettable experience—something I haven’t had the chance to do yet, but it’s definitely on my list! 🌅

My Sunset Experience 🌇

I visited Lagazuoi for the sunset, but unfortunately, the sky was a bit cloudy, and I couldn’t get the perfect shot I hoped for. Nevertheless, the atmosphere was great, and I spent some time soaking in the beauty of the mountains. After the sun had set, I hiked back down. The trail is steep and a bit slippery in places, so be sure to wear proper footwear and bring a headlamp (trust me, you’ll need it if you're descending after dark). 🕯️
