Jeep Arch is easily one of the most underrated hikes on BLM land in Moab. The trail has a lot to offer including slickrock traverses, desert canyons, and the star of the hike- Jeep Arch. Note, Jeep Arch is also known as Gold Bar Arch.

This is a lollipop loop hike, and I recommend hiking the loop section clockwise for the best views behind Jeep Arch. From there, you’ll scramble up to the arch and hike underneath it to complete the hike. There is one short section of the trail that may be tricky for dogs shortly after the trail splits off. My husband had to help my dog scramble up this section the last time we hiked it, so small-medium sized dogs may need a boost.

The trail goes through bighorn sheep breeding habitat, so keeping dogs on a leash is strongly encouraged.
