Welcome to Cascata dos Anjos, also known as the "Waterfall of Angels"!! It cascades down a sheer rock face onto the E.R.101 road and into the sea, making it one of the most picturesque and photographed falls on the island. You can easily reach this natural beauty spot by car from Funchal, and it's about a 30-minute drive west of the capital. The flow of water comes from a levada, one of the irrigation channels that transport water for agriculture on the island. Definitely worth the stop!!
