The charming 28-bunk hut is perfect for visitors looking to enjoy the Tongariro Northern Circuit Great Walk within the Great Walks season (October 2023 - April 2024). During this time, booking is required and gas cookers and resident wardens are present. Alternatively, during the off-season (May - October 2023), visitors may use the first come-first serve model with no booking necessary.
