For hiking enthusiasts, Monte Forato is a must-visit destination. Located in the Apuan Alps, this mountain features a natural rock arch with breathtaking views. You can take three different routes to reach the top, one of which is a Via Ferrata. Because this area is relatively under-explored, we would only recommend it for experienced hikers and those looking to get off the beaten path.
