Around a 2-4hr return walk with beautiful views along the way.

Takatu Point Lookout in New Zealand is a sweet spot for divers of all levels. With its gentle descent from 4m to over 25m, this dive site near the Tawharanui Marine Reserve is bursting with marine life like Snapper, Trevally, and even Octopus. The crystal-clear waters offer up to 8m visibility, making it a perfect playground for both beginners and advanced divers. Located at Tokatū Point Lookout in Rodney, Auckland, this underwater gem promises an epic aquatic adventure that you won't forget!

From a reviewer:

'A lovely 4 hour return (about 9 to 11 km walk depending on the routes you take) walk. We parked at the Lagoon carpark and took the (very rocky) southern coastal walk (have to be low tide) hour and 20 min walk to the stair leading up to the track and lookout point. The rest of the walk is pleasant well maintained paths and maker-poles. Take enough water. Wonderful views of Little Barrier and Great Barrier Island behind it and Coromandel off to the right in the distance. And SPF50 - 90% of track is exposed to the sun.'
