Caerau Gardens in Sarnau, Bala absolutely blew my mind!
We were on our way to the lake when I spotted the sign for Caerau gardens which one of our lovely followers had recommended, so I thought we'd swing by and give it a go for an hour or so...
4 hours later we were still there, and I'm sure you can see why.
Here's what we loved about it...
❤️ The views from all over the gardens are stunning - out over the valley and Llyn Tegid
❤️ Beautiful gardens, with lots of different areas to explore
❤️ The most fun play area we have been to in a long time - a wooden fort, zip line, huge tree swing and obstacle course kept the kids entertained for ages.
❤️ A sunken trampoline, with arguable the best view of all trampoline ever
❤️ Swing seat with stunning views
❤️ Lovely cafe with great food - chips are 💯
❤️ Family ran by the loveliest people
❤️ Dog friendly

*It is advised that large vans do not park on site (there is a windy road down to the carpark) but you can park at the entrance sign - I had to with my sprinter campervan.
Please remember that this is a small family run business - I would love you to visit and show your support but also bear in mind that they may get busy in peak times and the car park/cafe aren't that big - you can call and book ahead for food but you can't pre-book tickets.
