As one of the most popular things to do, this is a great alternative for those wanting to experience more of the vast landscapes of Alaska. It has two classes and we recommend booking first class for the best views and service (the "Gold Star" service) but you'll see the same views on the Adventure Class. The most popular routes are to take the train from Anchorage to either Seward or Fairbanks, but in the Winter they have special Aurora and Holiday routes as well.
