Skútustaðakirkja is an incredibly fun place to visit in Iceland. Located near Lake Mývatn, it's a peaceful spot not far from the road, but half-hidden by some pretty trees. The church itself is very pretty both outside and inside (it was completed in 1983). It's a lovely spot to visit and photograph.
