The Ring of Brodgar, located in Orkney, Scotland, is a Neolithic henge and stone circle that stands out for being almost a perfect circle, unlike most henges. It sits on a small isthmus between two lochs and is one of the northernmost examples of circle henges in Britain. With a diameter of 104 meters, it's the third largest stone circle in the British Isles. Although its exact purpose remains uncertain, its proximity to other ancient sites like the Standing Stones of Stenness makes it a significant part of the Neolithic landscape in Orkney. The site has resisted scientific dating attempts, adding to its mysterious allure.
