When in north Norfolk, Burnham Market is always our go to for picking up food supplies. Whether it's fresh fish from Gurney's Fishshop, picnic bits from Humble Pie Deli or some hearty Italian food from its Tuscan Farm shop... for a small place the options are extensive and it's in a greta location if you're heading towards Holkham beach and nature reserve for the day.

If it's your first time here, it's well worth spending and hour or so wandering the streets of this picturesque 17th century village. Alongside some great restaurants and food spots you'll also find galleries and an array of independent shops to peruse as you wander. Alternatively just take in the beautiful red brick, perfectly preserved buildings steeped in history.

For those looking for an evening out whilst visiting the area, then The Hoste, Socious and the Tuscan Farm Shop's Wine Bar are all worth a visit.
