This converted 1870s chapel is the kind of place that forces you to switch off, slow down, and truly "unplug." We stayed here in July 2025 and were struck by the total peace; you’re surrounded by mountains, wildflowers, and grazing sheep in the surrounding fields. The interior is a beautiful blend of original stone walls and tall windows.
Being in the heart of Snowdonia National Park, world-class hiking trails are literally on your doorstep. While it feels remote, their Starlink satellite Wi-Fi means you aren't completely cut off (though we found the digital detox quite refreshing!). It’s the perfect sanctuary for families or groups who want to wake up to birdsong rather than traffic.
Pro Tip: The nearest village, Dolwyddelan, is only 3 miles away and Betws-y-Coed is just a 20-minute drive, so stock up on all your groceries before you arrive—you won't want to leave once you’ve settled in.
Parking: Private on-site parking for up to two cars (three at a push). Pet Policy: No pets allowed. Last Updated: January 2026
