The Giant's Causeway is a stunning natural wonder on the north coast of Ireland, known for its unique hexagonal rock formations that look like stepping stones. Legend has it that the causeway was built by an Irish giant to reach Scotland, but it's actually the result of volcanic activity millions of years ago. Visitors can walk along the rocks and take in the breathtaking coastal views.

I STRONGLY encourage you to visit this area during sunset if the weather is nice. It's one of my all time favorite travel experiences.

There's a short hike (about 2.8 miles with 500+ feet of elevation gain) that tracks along the cliffs here. I strongly suggest budgeting some time for this, since the views overlook the basalt columns and eventually lead you down to the water. A number of different trails criss cross through here, so I suggest downloading AllTrails and using the trail map to stay on the correct one!
