The Bloods Lake Trailhead is a popular starting point for hikers looking to explore the beautiful scenery of the Uinta Mountains. Located up Guardsmans Pass, it is only accesible from around Memorial Day to the end of October depending on snow and road conditions. I recommend checking trail conditions on AllTrails. It is a beuatoful hike escially in the fall with tons of Aspens along the way. It is a very very busy hike so come early or be prepared to wait for a parking spot. Please do not park on the road! You will get a ticket. The hike is 2.8 miles with 462 ft elevation gain, please do not swim in the lake! The Bloods Lake Trailhead parking lot has a camera which can be used to observe conditions, check for available parking, and plan your trip!
