Barnafoss is a wickedly cool waterfall in West Iceland that has a dark and mysterious past. Legend has it that two mischievous kids tried to cross a stone bridge over the falls, but tragically fell to their deaths. Some say their grief-stricken mother put a curse on the bridge, causing anyone who crossed it to meet a watery demise. Spooky, right? But don't worry, the curse was supposedly broken by an earthquake. Today, you can visit Barnafoss and see its wild rapids and swirling waters for yourself. Just be careful not to fall in!
