This is one of the best fire towers in North Carolina! The hike up to it is relatively easy and it is stunning in the fall with 360 degree views. The road to get here is gravel at certain points and narrow so be vigilant while you're driving.

There only a couple places to park but I don't think this trail is highly trafficked (we were alone) so it shouldn't be a big deal.

The fire tower is less sketchy than some others I've been on in North Carolina, but that's not saying much. Exercise caution while you're on this structure!
