The rooms were comfortable with private bathrooms and satellite TV, and some even had a balcony with a great view. The terrace with an open fireplace was a great spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The restaurant served delicious Icelandic dishes made with local produce, and the packed lunches were a lifesaver on our hiking trips. The library and board games were a nice touch, and the kids loved the playground. Plus, the sauna was a perfect way to unwind after a long day.
