A short walk from the Hida Folk village is the Hida Takayama Crafts Experience Cente, where workshops on local handicrafts are given. For a few of 700 to 1800 Yen (in 2023), you can learn how to make sarubobo dolls, ceramic cups, wind chimes, beaded key chains and many more! No reservations are required, so you can just drop by during opening hours and get crafty!
