The Robert Service Cabin is an important and fascinating historic site that captures the collective imagination and spirit of the Klondike Gold Rush. The rustic two-room log cabin is Classified as a Federal Heritage Building, and is located on the lower slopes of Dawson City in the Dawson Historic Complex National Historic Site of Canada. This building was constructed in 1898-99, and is where the famous poet Robert Service lived while he wrote his works about the icy Klondike during the gold rush period.
